Travel from Tbilisi to the Black Sea

The journey to Batumi takes you across Georgia towards the country’s western coast. For a longer road trip, travelling directly with your companions can make planning simpler, especially when you’re carrying luggage or travelling with family.

Journey time depends on your departure address, traffic, weather, and any stops along the way. Keep your arrival plans flexible and allow additional time if you have a reservation or another connection after reaching Batumi.

If you would like to stop for a meal, take a break, or visit somewhere en route, discuss these plans before booking. Confirm which stops are included and whether they affect the price or journey duration.

Choose the Right Transfer for Your Trip

Whether you’re travelling as a couple, with children, or in a larger group, choose a vehicle that accommodates everyone comfortably.

Before making a reservation, check passenger capacity and luggage allowance. Large suitcases, a stroller, or additional equipment may require more space than a standard booking provides. If you need a child safety seat, confirm availability in advance.

Share your accommodation’s exact address when arranging the transfer. This is particularly useful if you’re staying outside central Batumi or in a nearby coastal area.

Arriving in Batumi

After reaching your destination, you can settle in and begin exploring. Batumi Boulevard, the waterfront, and the streets of Old Batumi offer different ways to experience the city, whether you prefer a relaxed walk or time in cafés and restaurants.

Choose your accommodation around the holiday you want. A central location may suit visitors planning to explore on foot, while a property farther along the coast may require additional transport for city visits.

Check the map carefully before booking your transfer so that your selected destination matches your accommodation.

Travelling to Batumi from Tbilisi Airport

If you’re planning to continue to Batumi after landing at Tbilisi International Airport, arrange the journey around your flight details rather than a fixed departure estimate.

Allow time for passport control, baggage collection, and reaching the meeting point. Confirm pickup arrangements and how flight delays are handled with your selected provider.

After a long flight, consider whether you prefer to continue directly to Batumi or spend a night in Tbilisi before beginning the road journey.

Plan Your Return Journey

If your holiday includes a return to Tbilisi, arrange that journey in advance rather than assuming it is included in a one-way transfer.

For a return trip connecting with a flight, leave a generous time buffer. Traffic and road conditions can affect arrival times, so avoid planning your airport arrival around the shortest possible journey.

Book Your Tbilisi to Batumi Transfer

Whether you’re visiting for time by the sea, a family holiday, or a short city break, planning your transport in advance gives you one less thing to organize during your trip.
